Marco Laudani - Ocram - Founder

Born in Catania in 1988. Since 2013 he has been the artistic director of Ocram Dance Movement, dance company associated to Scenario Pubblico, center of national interest.

He has been signing creations for John Cranko School of Stuttgart, Conservatório Internacional de Ballet and Dança Annarella Sanchez (Leiria, Portugal), CZD2, KAOS Balletto di Firenze and has been a guest teacher at Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School.

His works have been selected for several international festivals in Germany (Festival SzóloDuó, Solo Tanz Theater Stuttgart), Hungary (Festival SzólóDuó), Spain (Certamen Coreografico distrito de Tetuan, Maldà en Dansa, Certamen Coreografico Compostela 2021, 20 Certamen Internacional de coreografia Burgos -New York 2021), Portugal (Quinzena de Dança de Almada), Slovenia (Ljubljana Dance Meeting), Turkey (Istanbul Fringe Festival), Greece (Pocket Dance Festival), Mexico (Fiamma 2020), Bulgaria (Black Box Festival), France (Blois Danse Festival).

In 2017, he was invited to Wicked Weekend COMMA at CODARTS, intensive program for choreographers (Rotterdam)

In 2019, he obtained a Master's degree in political science and international relations, in the same year, he was awarded with the choreographic award at the Certamen Coreografico distrito de Tetuan (Madrid).

In 2020, he was invited as a guest choreographer at the Ljubljana Opera by the director Petar Dorcevski.

Since 2022, he is an associate choreographer at Scenario Pubblico and, recently, he has been invited as a guest teacher at YGP Japan (Osaka).

Claudio Scalia - Ocram Art Director

Claudio Scalia was born in Catania.

While deepening his dance studies both in Italy and abroad, he gets in contact with a number of artistic realities.

For his own Company, he has been creating Africa (2019), H(and)s and Placebo in 2019 and Espresso in 2021.

His works have been presented in Italy and abroad: SzòlòDuo Festival in Budapest, Black Box Festival in Plovdiv, Florence Dance Festival, Gdansk Festival Tanca in Gdansk, Blois Danse Festival, SoloCoroegrafico in Frankfurt.

In 2021, he wins the choreographic prize at the International Solo Dance Competition Italy, in collaboration with the Solo TanzTheater festival in Stuttgart.

Since 2019, he Is a choreographer for Narnia Festival and the artistic director of the dance event "Evergreen".

He takes part to the 2020 edition of New Trajectories XL - training courses for young authors | Anticorpi XL Network, action coordinated by Cantieri Danza Association.

In 2022 he creates Trittongo for CZD2 ( Zappalà youth dance company).

From 2022, he is an associate artist for a three-year period (2022/24) of National Choreographic Dance Center Scenario Pubblico.
