Marco Laudani - Ocram - Founder

He was born in Catania in 1988. Since 2013 he has been the art director of the ocram dance movement company.

His works are selected in several international festivals in Germany (Festival SzóloDuó, Solo Tanz Theater Stuttgart), Hungary (Festival SzólóDuó), Spain (Certamen Coreografico distrito de Tetuan, Maldà en Dansa, Certamen Coreografico Compostela 2021, 20 Certamen Internacional de choreografia Burgos - New York 2021), Portugal (Quinzena de Dança de Almada), Slovenia (Ljubljana Dance Meeting), Turkey (Istanbul Fringe Festival), Greece (Pocket Dance Festival), Mexico (FIDCDMX 2020), Bulgaria (Black Box Festival).

He has signed creations for the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, the Conservatório Internacional de Ballet and Dança Annarella Sanchez (Leiria, Portugal), KAOS Balletto in Florence and has been a guest lecturer at the Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School.

In 2017 he was invited to the Wicked Weekend COMMA for the master choreography held in CODARTS (Rotterdam).

In 2019 he graduated in political science and international relations, in the same year he was awarded the choreography award at the Certamen Coreografico distrito de Tetuan (Madrid).

In 2020 he was invited as a guest choreographer at the Ljubljana Opera by the director Petar Dorcevski.

From 2022 he is associated artist for the three-year period 2022/24 of the Scenario Pubblico National Choreographic Dance Center

Claudio Scalia - Ocram Art Director

Claudio Scalia was born in Catania.

She deepens her studies by traveling in Italy and abroad, coming into contact with different artistic realities and perfected herself by studying with choreographers such as: Eric Bauchesne, Carolina Mancuso, Joeri Alexander Dubbe, Igor Bachovic, Jon Bond, Medhi Walerskhi, Tilmann O'Donnel, Bryan Arias.

From 2019 he directs the ocram dance movement company together with Marco Laudani. For ocram he creates Africa in 2018, H(and)s and Placebo in 2021.

As a choreographer he participates in the SzòlòDuo Festival in Budapest, the Black Box Festival in Plovdiv, the Florence Dance Festival, the Gdansk Festival Tanca in Gdańsk.

In 2021 he won the choreographic prize at the International Solo Dance Competition Italy in collaboration with the Solo Tanz Theater festival in Stuttgart.

Since 2019 he has been choreographer for the Narnia Festival and artistic director of the training project for young dancers "Evergreen".

Take part in the 2020 edition of Nuove Traiettorie XL - training courses for young authors | Anticorpi XL Network action coordinated by the Cantieri Danza Association.

From 2022 he is associated artist for the three-year period 2022/24 of the Scenario Pubblico National Choreographic Dance Center
